Reactos is a great opensource system for new and young computers

Reactos is an Microsoft windows NT clone great for upgrading an older model computer. Reactos is almost identical to the Windows NT operating system. The internet is not as compatible for the Unix/Linux operating system like Microsoft’s Windows 9x-vista. Some computers cannot use Linux systems. Their hardware was meant for Windows 3-9x, and Reactos provides a stable system for the 386 to Pentium 4 computers. If you are using an older computer, you might want to get a copy of Reactos. Reactos is under the GNU user license so it is completely free to reproduce or work with the binaries.

Reactos is completely compatible with Microsoft Windows applications. Reactos is based on the Win16-Win32 applications. The system is made from a Unix- dos platform and has a 16bit gui platform good enough for older hardware. You can use most executable files on Reactos unlike Linux versions. Reactos can open the usual files that are multiplaform such as txt, jpg, gif, html, and more. It works just like MS. Windows, best part about it, it’s a clean and free opensource software.

Reactos is can be found at  Reactos’s website. Reactos is a free operating system with a whole community of help. The website provides up-to-date addons, newer versions and software that is compatible with Reactos. There is comprehensive information here provided on how to setup your system and have it humming. If you are a software programmer, I am pretty sure that they would love your help. The best part of Reactos, is that you can tweak it to your own specifications like Windows. It’s the closest thing to Linux in the Unix family. Have a great day and enjoy Reactos.
